House Rules for Retreats at Langcliffe Hall
These rules are designed to ensure that everyone enjoys a comfortable, safe, and respectful stay. By booking and attending a retreat at Langcliffe Hall, you agree to the following:
1. Maximum Numbers
The total number of people (including guests, facilitators, assistants, and photographers) must not exceed the number agreed in your Booking Agreement.
No additional guests may attend without prior written permission.
2. Accommodation
No tents, campervans, caravans, or external accommodation on the property unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Each bedroom is allocated according to the Organiser’s guest list and may not be swapped without permission from the Organiser.
Bedrooms must be left in the same condition they were found.
3. Facilities
Bathrooms are shared; please be considerate and keep them tidy.
The dining room and yoga shala have maximum capacities for safety and comfort. Attendees must respect these limits.
Heating, plumbing, and electrical systems must not be tampered with. If you notice an issue, contact the Owner immediately.
4. Catering & Kitchen Use
If catering is included, only the Owner and their staff may use the kitchen.
Food waste must be disposed of in the appropriate bins.
5. Parking
Cars must be parked only in designated areas.
All vehicles parked in the courtyard or on the property are left entirely at the owners’ risk. The Owner accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents.
6. General Conduct
Noise must be kept to a reasonable level, particularly after 10:00 pm.
Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
Alcohol is not permitted unless agreed upon in writing with the Owner. Alcohol should be consumed responsibly.
7. Property Care
Any damage or breakages must be reported to the Owner immediately.
Guests are responsible for their own belongings.
Furniture and equipment must not be moved without permission.
8. Animals
Animals on the property must not be disturbed or fed without the Owner’s consent.
Retreats involving animal interactions must be agreed with the Owner in advance.
9. Emergencies
Fire exits must be kept clear at all times.
10. Breach of Rules
Failure to comply with these rules may result in the event being terminated without refund and/or additional charges for damage, cleaning, or disruption.
Acknowledgement
By signing the Booking Agreement or attending a retreat at Langcliffe Hall, you confirm that you have read and agree to abide by these House Rules.
