Offerings…

NATURE & NUTRITION

We will both be nourishing you throughout the weekend with delicious feasts of vegetarian and plant based food and drinks, with plenty of fresh, organic, seasonal produce from the NourishHq kitchen garden. We will start each day with Katherine’s beautiful herbal tea meditations, using her ‘Retreat Remedies’ tea blends to cleanse, calm, and support our adrenals. She will also share her knowledge of how we can use food to heal our guts, balance our hormones and boost our immune systems. Charlotte will share her knowledge of Ayurvedic nutrition and how we can best eat to support our unique constitutions.

YOGA & BREATHWORK

Charlotte has been teaching yoga and pranayama (breathwork) for over ten years and has found them to be the most transformative practices for healing the nervous system, regulating the emotions, and shifting stagnation out of the body. She specialises in helping you find calm, clarity, and inner balance through the power of guided breathwork and meditation. We will have immersive practices, beginning with gentle connective breathing, moving into more vigorous, stimulating breaths, and then bringing everything back down to softness, finding deep stillness and quiet. We will move through intuitive, luxurious yoga practices that are gentle, restorative and suitable for all levels.

GOODNESS FROM GARDEN

We will be catching the end of the harvest from the walled vegetable garden where Charlotte grows everything organically. All food where possible will be gathered by you and will be prepped by ourselves to make sure you have a complete menu from the grounds and gardens. It doesn’t get much better than this. We will also be harvesting the medicine and herbs from Charlotte’s medicine garden, all grown from seed, with love and great knowledge of herbs. She will of course be sharing her growing knowledge as well as her medicine making tips and tricks so you can go home inspired to grow some of you own too.

MEDICINE MAKING

We will be spending the weekend working with Mother Nature, learning about all of the herbs and plants we have access to from the hedgerow, the wild and the garden. How to grow them, preserve them and turn them into medicine. You will learn to make infusions, tinctures, macerated oils, skincare, bath salts and how to work with essential oils. You will be going home not only with a full cupboard of homemade remedies, but with the knowledge, confidence and inspiration to turn to nature for everything. Cutting chemicals out of your life for good and feeling empowered about it. This is a huge step to make but one we will do in a weekend. Turning to nature and taking our health back into our own hands is something we extremely passionate about and we can’t wait to share this with you.

Location

Langcliffe Hall is a grade II listed Jacobean manor house nestled in the dramatic hills of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Surrounded by formal gardens, wildflower meadows, woodlands, and a productive organic kitchen garden and medicine garden, Langcliffe Hall is unlike any other retreat venue out there. It has a fairytale like quality, with no shortage of trailing roses, and meandering paths (often frequented by the resident geese, ducks and chickens).

The house dates back to 1602 and has remained in Charlotte’s family for over 400yrs. Still very much a home, the house is cosy, full of history and authentic charm. Expect big luxurious bedrooms, oak panelled living rooms, wood burning stoves, hot baths and plenty of quiet nooks to sit back with a book or your journal.

All Spaces are £750pp

* Please note: we now only have a twin bedroom remaining - all single occupancy bedrooms have been booked*

£150 non-refundable deposit to secure booking. Remainder to be paid by 1st September 2024

This includes the price of all the remedies you will take home. We both use organic and the highest quality of ingredients , or even better homegrown with love and care worth approx £150

All rooms in Langcliffe Hall are stunning, historic and lovingly prepared. Due to the historic nature, charm and layout of the property - most bathrooms are shared with one other bedroom, 2 bedrooms have an ensuite, and there are no showers hence giving plenty of time to enjoy a bath with your home made bath salts however there are a number of private sleeping rooms available.

We hope you can join us
